Qingdao development zone ranks first in Shandong for 8 years

Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone in Qingdao West Coast New Area ranked first in the evaluation of the comprehensive development of development zones in Shandong province in 2021 for the eighth consecutive year.

According to the evaluation, Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone led in terms of opening-up among 160 provincial-level and above development zones in Shandong in 2021.

Last year, major economic indicators of Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone such as its actual use of foreign capital as well as imports and exports maintained double-digit growth.

The zone remains at the forefront of the national development zones in comprehensive rankings and has won the honor as one of the top 10 development zones in China in terms of strong investment value.
