Aucma carrying smart refrigeration forward

Aucma, one of China's leading refrigeration equipment providers, is motivated to expand its innovation capabilities in order to advance refrigeration technology.

The Qingdao-based company has transformed itself from a traditional refrigerator manufacturer in the 1980s to a smart home appliance developer and a pioneer in constructing a smarter cold chain nowadays, thanks to its devotion.

"Aucma has the world's leading refrigeration technology, and boasts over 2,000 patents in a dozen of technical fields such as low temperature, energy saving, and the internet of things," said Li Na, deputy director of Aucma's brand planning department.

By using information technologies like big data, the internet of things and cloud computing, Aucma has launched a smart cold chain management system, which intelligently controls all links in the cold chain, such as product location, temperature and humidity control, inventory order query and distribution.

In the field of ultra-low temperature equipment, Aucma has successively launched the world's first -86°C, -150°C ultra-low temperature freezer, the -190°C Stirling freezer, and is constantly breaking world records in the low-temperature industry.

The company is also keen on improving its research capabilities through high-level international cooperation. For example, Aucma has reached a cooperation with Global Good, a research institute invested by Bill Gates. In 2014, The two parties developed and manufactured a new type of vaccine storage device called Arktek, which marked an achievement in the field of medical cold chain.

As for commercial cold chain, Aucma has also established cooperative relations with companies like Nestle, Coca-Cola, Pepsi-Cola and Yili. It has launched many international leading products such as the world's first AI intelligent unmanned vending cabinet, which has greatly promoted the development of the domestic new retail industry.

The local renowned brand was recently named to the "Shandong Good Products" brand list for its high-quality refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and washing machines. Aucma was also among the Top 500 Most Valuable Brands in China and among the Top 500 Companies in the Manufacturing Industry in China.
