4 brands from Qingdao WCNA make provincial brand list

Four brands based in Qingdao West Coast New Area (WCNA) made the "Shandong Good Products" brand list, which contains 223 items, according to a press conference on March 2.

They include Aucma's refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and washing machines, Qingdao Haiwan Chemical's HyGain PVC, caustic soda and styrene, Hicorp Machinery (Qingdao)'s Hicorp roving frame, cone yarn packaging logistics system and intelligent warehousing logistics system, and the regional "Huangdao Blueberry".

Products on the list were selected from famed high-quality products in Shandong province that have great influence in the market.

According to the blueprint, by 2025, "Shandong Good Products", a regional public brand built by the Shandong provincial government, is expected to be at the forefront of regional brands in China in terms of competitiveness.

Qingdao WCNA has been consolidating brand building efforts. It now boasts 25 well-known Chinese trademarks, 12 trademarks that won certification for national geographical indication, and 32 Shandong provincial high-end brand cultivation enterprises.
