The project, which is undertaken by the China Offshore Oil Engineering Company (COOEC) in the Qingdao WCNA, will travel about 5,170 nautical miles, and it is expected to arrive in Canada in February.
According to a company executive, the module for the shipment loading has a height of more than 30 meters and a weight of over 4,000 tons. Due to the company's independently designed shipping loading scheme, they completed the loading within three hours.
As the largest energy investment project in Canada, the project is expected to supply high-quality natural gas to Asia with the annual output of around 13 million tons.
In recent years, the COOEC has achieved remarkable results in large-scale LNG module construction projects such as Gorgon and Ichthys, leading the way globally in LNG process module manufacturing.
The shipping and offshore industry is one of the key industrial chains in the Qingdao WCNA.
The new area is committed to forming an action plan for the upgrading of the shipping and offshore industry through coordinated promotion and independent innovation.
