​Enjoy 'forest oxygen bars' in Qingdao West Coast New Area

Four scenic areas in Qingdao West Coast New Area have been recently included on the list of "Qingdao Forest Oxygen Bars." Come take a deep breath of the fresh air and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery.

Cangma Mountain Ecological Park

Cangma Mountain Ecological Park is located at the northern foot of Cangma Mountain. Covering 220 hectares, the park has areas for planting, picking, and sightseeing.

Pecans, walnuts, quinoa, edible fungi, raspberries and chestnuts are among many foods planted in the park. After processing the foods, they become high-value products such as dried fruit, dried goods, tea, raspberry wine, chestnut wine, and health food, which are popular among consumers.

Qingdao Dazhu Mountain Scenic Area

Qingdao Dazhu Mountain Scenic Area faces the sea on three sides. The main peak, Dazhai Peak, is 486 meters above sea level. It is directly across the sea from Lingshan Island, the island with the highest altitude in the north.

The scenic area is known for acres of wild azaleas, a variety of unique peaks and rock formations, and scenic valleys. The sight of "Dazhu Mountain and Xiaozhu Mountain embedded in the cloud" is rated as one of the eight wonders of ancient Jiaozhou.

Dazhu Mountain is divided into the Xiugu Natural Ecological Zone and the Shimen Temple Buddhist Cultural Zone.

Mingjiayuan Ecological Park

Mingjiayuan Ecological Park is located in the ecological tea demonstration zone in Haiqing town. It sits at the base of the beautiful Dazhuigu Mountain with Rizhao to the south, Wulian to the west, and Zhucheng to the north.

Mochan'an Health Care Base in Tieshan sub-district covers more than 200 hectares of land. The scenic Tiejueshan Mountain is the second highest mountain in Qingdao West Coast New Area and is where the base is located.
