The Qingdao Shell Museum, located on the coast of Tangdao Bay in Qingdao's West Coast New Area, is a private shell-themed museum.
Covering an area of nearly 2,600 square meters, the museum not only collects and researches shells, but also educates visitors and serves as a site for cultural tourism.
It has more than 4,260 shell (conch) specimens and over 130 species of shellfish fossils from over 60 countries on display.
