Located in the north of the New Area, Qingdao Bridgehead International Business District, with a planned area of about 10 square kilometers, is an important area for the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area to undertake national International Business District strategies and provide services. 

Relying on the unique location advantages as the junction of the Jiaozhou Bay Bridge and the West Coast New Area and the development opportunities of the Pilot Free Trade Zone, it will build a "3+1" industrial system dominated by international business services, international emerging finance and digital information services, with smart life services as supporting facilities to form a new international urban center with business services and trade services as the core, emerging finance and digital information industries as the innovation direction, and hotels, commerce and smart life services as the attraction.
