Qingdao Film and Television Expo concluded

The Qingdao Film and Television Expo came to a successful close on Oct 17 at Qingdao West Coast New Area, with 18 projects with a total investment of 7 billion yuan ($1.09 billion) signed on the spot. A variety of activities, including film classes, project roadshows, and exhibitions, have built a reliable exchange platform for film and television technology, trading, and resources, which will further promote the high-quality development of the film and television industry in Qingdao and West Coast New Area.

The expo was met with much praise when it debuted in August 2019, and achieved a number of national firsts: helping the first 5G high-tech video experimental park to be set up in WCNA, becoming the first international film and television expo in China, and setting up the first national film and television industry award – the "Golden Seagull".

The Oriental Movie Metropolis Project Market also took place during the expo with a launching ceremony for the China Film Investment and Financing Industry Alliance and a round-table conference held on the spot, as well as a project roadshow and an onsite signing ceremony.
