The airport handled 193,000 flights, with a daily peak of 680, and welcomed 26.9 million passengers, setting new records since its opening. The airport expanded its network by adding 14 domestic high-frequency routes and new connections to cities like Longnan and Kashgar. Internationally, it strengthened its position as a Northeast Asia gateway by launching direct flights to Shizuoka, Cheongju, and Daegu, and improved connectivity to Southeast Asian hubs like Hanoi and Kuala Lumpur. In air cargo, the airport supported local industries by launching its first Southeast Asia freight route and operating 15 cargo lines. It handled 227,100 metric tons of cargo and pioneered smart customs processes. Notably, it enabled same-day delivery of Qingdao beer globally, earning recognition at the 2025 global trade and logistics forum.
