Expanding the business of green methanol bunkering for ships and seizing the market opportunities brought by the international shipping industry's carbon reduction policies are crucial for promoting the transformation and upgrading of ship fuel supply at SPG. Such efforts enhance port service functions and boost the core competitiveness of SPG.

Qingdao Port International Oil Port Co Ltd leverages the logistics storage area in Qingdao West Coast New Area, which includes four truck loading/unloading bays, six internal floating roof tanks each with a capacity of 3,000 cubic meters, one 10,000-metric ton berth, and one 50,000-ton berth. The area can accommodate bunkering ships ranging from 1,000 to 50,000 tons, with an operational rate of up to 1,000 cubic meters per hour.

Currently, Qingdao Port International Oil Port Co Ltd is capable of bunkering low-sulfur fuel oil, light fuel oil, biodiesel, and green methanol, which makes it a key marine fuel bunkering base in China with a comprehensive range of bunkering cargo and robust bunkering capabilities.
