During the 2024 International Friends Exploring Qingdao tour, expats spoke highly of vibrant development of modern industrial integration in the Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA).

The group of international friends first arrived at the Qingdao Film Museum and experienced the rich history and dynamic power of the nations's film capital and the film industry in the Qingdao WCNA. They also visited the Qingdao Mingyue Seaweed Group, where they learned about the company's innovations in marine cultivation and industrial transformation through explanations, tastings, and product displays.

Tony Pusic, senior vice-president of the Global Production Operations in the Asia-Pacific region and Japan at AstraZeneca, stated that Qingdao's prosperity is due to the combination of cultural heritage and scientific technology. He fully affirmed Qingdao's competitive advantages and expressed his commitment to continue deepening investment in Qingdao and the Chinese market.

Lucas Rocha, president of Tenaris Middle East and Asia-Pacific region, shared the amazing transformation of Qingdao and the benefits enjoyed by companies over the years. He noted the efficient and transparent business environment, rapid urban development, increasingly improved infrastructure, and the continuous influx of universities.

Chen Liang, director of Allianz China Insurance, visited the Qingdao WCNA for the first time and was deeply impressed by the beautiful environment and favorable investment policies.
