Qingdao's grape village bursts with flavor, festive cheer

Gongjia village in Chengyang district, Qingdao, is alive with excitement as the grape harvest season and the annual grape festival begin. Clusters of plump and vibrant grapes hang from the vines, their sweet fragrance filling the air.

Renowned for its grape cultivation, Gongjia village is home to more than 1,000 mu (about 66.6 hectares) of vineyards, growing a diverse range of grape varieties. The grapes thrive in a pristine natural environment, nurtured by the pure spring water from Laoshan Mountain and cultivated without pesticides, resulting in a superior quality and distinctive flavor.
