Exhibition industry in Qingdao WCNA continues to thrive

Since 2024, Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) has seen a surge in exhibition activities. A variety of successful events have taken place, including the 6th Shandong International Foundry Industry Exhibition, which attracted over 400 specialized enterprises and nearly 30,000 visitors both online and in-person.

The enthusiasm for exhibitions in Qingdao WCNA remains palpable, with upcoming events like the 21st Qingdao International Furniture Fair and the 2024 (Spring) China Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition scheduled to be held.

This year, a total of 470 exhibition events are planned, aiming to attract over 17 million visitors and generate more than 22 billion yuan ($3.04 billion) in consumption.

Here are some of the upcoming events scheduled for Qingdao WCNA:

The 2024 (Spring) China Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition

Scheduled from May 20 to 22

The 2024 (Spring) China Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition is expected to utilize over 10 indoor exhibition halls spanning 135,000 square meters. With nearly 9,000 booths, the event will host 1,500 high-quality enterprises from 24 countries, along with numerous industry experts and business leaders.

The 21st Qingdao International Furniture Fair

Scheduled from May 9 to 12

Another highlight is the 21st Qingdao International Furniture Fair, which offers a platform for design-themed activities and discussions lead by over 200 experts in furniture design.

The China North (Qingdao) International Spring Tea Industry Expo

Scheduled on May 24

The China North (Qingdao) International Spring Tea Industry Expo is poised to be a significant industry event with a 15,000 square meter exhibition area and 600 standard booths, covering the entire tea industrial chain.
