In Weifang, renowned as the World Capital of Kites, SPG has completed, initiated, and is currently working on a total of 21 key projects with a total investment of 30.15 billion yuan. With strong backing from the Weifang municipal government, SPG is increasing its investment in the reform and enhancement of Weifang Port. Projects such as channel improvement, berth construction, yard renovation and port-rail connections are being expedited at Weifang Port to align with the city's development plans.

By 2023, Weifang Port had handled over 37 million metric tons of cargo throughput, with container traffic surpassing 600,000 twenty-foot-equivalent units (TEUs), significantly driving the city's development.
