Qingdao strives to grow through higher-level opening-up
Qingdao in East China's Shandong province is committed to promoting high-quality development through higher-level opening-up.
Qingdao has been actively advancing the "sea-land-air-rail" four-port linkage in order to contribute to the nation's efforts to promote the development of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Qingdao is also striving to expand opening-up by building a new institutional opening-up hub within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization demonstration area.
Taking advantage of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, Qingdao is speeding up construction of the China-Japan (Qingdao) sub-national cooperation demonstration zone and the China-Japan-South Korea consumption zone.
As a long-established industrial city, manufacturing has always been a strength for Qingdao. In response to the global industrial transformation, Qingdao is accelerating the development of emerging industries and advanced manufacturing.
To enhance the ecological conservation and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin, the city is focusing on attracting green and low-carbon enterprises by optimizing related policies.
