Qingdao FTZ builds intl talent community

The China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area, or Qingdao FTZ, has been ramping up efforts to build an international talent community and create a favorable livable and working environment for talents.

Recently, the international talent community service hall was launched in the Qingdao FTZ. With an area of 1,638 square meters, the service hall has 70 shared workspaces and three conference rooms, and 32 service windows for foreigner's examinations and approvals, international talent policies, financial and legal services, livable services, business services and other services.

There are more than 665 registered enterprises in the Qingdao FTZ, which have a total registered capital of about 6.8 billion yuan ($973.76 million) and more than 2,000 employees.

At present, there are 75 high-level talents above the provincial level in the Qingdao FTZ, including 11 foreign academicians.
