Thousands of seagulls spend winter in Qingdao

Tens of thousands of black-headed gulls (Larus ridibundus) have arrived at the Moshui River Estuary Wetland Park in Chengyang district, Qingdao to spend the winter, creating a spectacular and vibrant scene.

According to local bird watchers, the coastal area of Qingdao is the largest wintertime habitat for gulls in China, attracting tens of thousands of gulls every winter.
