According to an announcement on the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)'s official website on May 28, the functional architecture of the industrial internet system for industrial automation applications (IEC PAS 63441), the world's first international standard of its kind, is expected to be officially released by the end of 2022 after IEC/TC65 voting.

The IEC PAS 63441 was jointly developed by Haier's industrial internet platform COSMOPlat and the Instrumentation Technology and Economy Institute (ITEI).

IEC is a global authoritative international organization that formulates and publishes international electrotechnical and electronic standards and develops relevant conformity assessment procedures. IEC, together with the International Standardization Organization (ISO) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), are referred to as the world's three major international standards organizations.

The adoption of IEC PAS 63441 not only fills the gap in relevant international fields, but also marks an important breakthrough in China's participation in international standardization in the field of the industrial internet, according to industry insiders.
