New Bora car rolls off production line in Qingdao

The vehicle is the first Bora MQB PA model produced by FAW-Volkswagen.
Since entering the Chinese market, Bora has repeatedly pushed forward the standards for China's A-class cars by virtue of its ultra-high quality, strong power, perfect control and cutting-edge design, and it continues to lead the development of China's high-quality A-class cars, winning the trust of more than 3.1 million families, according to the company.
In 2018, a new generation of Bora was put into production in the FAW-Volkswagen East China Base in Qingdao, ushering in the "Made in Qingdao" era for Bora cars and boosting the development of Qingdao's auto industry, said local officials.

According to the deputy general manager of technology of FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co, the Bora MQB PA is an important step for FAW-Volkswagen in digital intellectualization. Compared to the last generation product, the Bora MQB PA has improvements in internet of things, interior and exterior design, autonomous driving, active safety, and entertainment system, and is equipped with wireless charging
The new model will hit the market in the first half of this year.
