QNLM holds annual academic conference
The Qingdao National Laboratory for Marine Science and Technology (QNLM) held its annual academic conference on Jan 11, with 300 academicians and researchers in attendance via both online and offline channels.
The annual conference consisted of four invited presentations, 118 special presentations and 20 young scholars' presentations, showcasing the new scientific research achievements achieved by QNLM in 2021.
Six outstanding young scholars' reports will be selected and the first, second and third-place prizes will be awarded to encourage young scientists.
Wu Lixin, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of the committee of directors of QNLM, gave a report on the recent work progress of the national laboratory.

The Shandong province smart ocean big data platform was launched at the annual academic conference. QNLM was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology in December 2013, under the joint construction of the national ministries and departments, Shandong Provincial Government and Qingdao Municipal Government.
