The district of Shinan – located in East China's Shandong province – is set to optimize its already thriving business environment in the wake of a news conference held on Dec 15, when it unveiled a set of 40 specific measures that are projected to enhance its efficiency.

An intelligent examination and approval system is being introduced to reduce the time taken to fill in administrative forms by more than 90 percent, through the structured and automatic entry of applications information.

The district has also taken the lead in realizing an online "one chain and one process" among a raft of other things.
