The Shinan district grabbed the limelight at the China (Qingdao) International Software Convergence & Innovation Expo 2021, which was held on Sept 24-26 at the Qingdao International Convention Center, in Qingdao city in East China's Shandong province, according to local media reports.

With its theme of a "Digital Shinan · Smart Future", the exhibition stand for Qingdao's Shinan district showcased the development achievements of the digital economy there – including smart government affairs, the smart community, smart medical treatment, smart transportation and smart energy – by using visualization and artificial intelligence, or AI methods.  

One of the managers of the Shinan stand said the immersive experience booth dynamically displayed Shinan's high-tech development and further promoted the development of the software and information technology service industry in the district.
