Shandong authorities recently released a supplementary notice on measures for people intending to travel to Shandong during the Spring Festival travel rush period from Jan 28 to March 8.

Accordingly, people from high-risk areas are not allowed to visit Shandong during the Spring Festival travel rush.

People from medium-risk areas are encouraged not to visit Shandong during the Spring Festival travel rush. If must, they need approval from the local epidemic prevention authority and hold a negative nucleic acid test result taken within 72 hours of their arrival.

People from medium and high-risk areas and those who have traveled to high-risk areas within 14 days must undergo concentrated quarantine for 14 days.

People from cities with medium and high-risk areas who intend to travel to Shandong must hold a negative nucleic acid test result taken within seven days of their arrival.

People from low-risk areas, who are involved in imported cold chain products and customs inspection, as well as those who work at quarantine venues, must present a negative nucleic acid test result from within seven days of their arrival in Shandong.

Returnees from other provinces who plan to visit rural areas in Shandong must also provide a negative nucleic acid test result taken within seven days of their arrival.

People from low-risk areas, other than the aforementioned groups, are required to present a green QR health code, ensure their body temperature is normal, and take strict personal protective measures while traveling.

The aforementioned prevention and control measures will be in effect until March 8, 2021.

People intending to travel to Shandong must fill out relevant information on the province's registration system, including their departure location, destination, nucleic acid test results, and contact numbers. Scan the following QR code to enter the system.
