Born in 1842 in Plzen, part of the current Czech Republic, it adopts low fermentation to improve the clarity, aroma, and freshness of the beer. Thus, Pilsner is famous for its golden, light body.
Tsingtao Pilsner follows the spirit of the Reinheitsgebot, or "German Purity Law", using only water, barley malt, yeast and hops to create the purest "glass of gold" with the simplest of ingredients. In 2018, it won the European Beer Star, which is known as the "Oscar of Beer".
