Official data show that the high-tech zone is currently home to more than 100 projects related to robotics, which have received a total of more than 13 billion yuan ($1.94 billion) in investment.
More than 80 percent of the city's robotics enterprises are located in the high-tech zone. They focus on software development, system integration, solution enablement, key component production, and other links in the industrial chain.
Among the top 10 robotics companies in the world, six have established branches in the high-tech zone, including ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, and Fanuc.
Local robotics companies such as MESNAC, Kingerobot Co, Baojia Group, and Beiyang Tianqing have also emerged as major players in the domestic market.
