The eastern coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province will launch a photography competition for its upcoming sailing event.

The 2020 Qingdao International Sailing Week and Qingdao International Marine Festival, a major sailing event in the city, will be held from Aug 8 to 16.

The photo contest is designed to capture the many spectacular moments from the sailing competition, according to the organizing committee. It will start on Aug 9.

All photos should be taken during this year's event and can include sailing activities, cultural exchanges and ceremonies. They should be submitted to fanchuanzhidu@163.com before Aug 31.

All contributors must indicate their name, title and telephone number in the writing column below each photo.
