Fushan Bay light show rescheduled

Light show at Fushan Bay is a must-see if visiting the eastern coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province.

Recently, the Qingdao urban management bureau released the schedule for the light show as well as the city's night lighting facilities in off-season and peak seasons.

From Oct 16, 2020 to March 31 the following year, the city's night lighting facilities will be turned on from 18:40 to 20:00.

From April 1 to Aug 31, the city's night lighting facilities will be turned on from 19:40 to 21:00.

From Sept 1 to Oct 15, the city's night lighting facilities will be turned on from 18:40 to 21:00.

During national statutory holidays, the opening time will be extended by 30 minutes. Facilities will be closed on Mondays for maintenance (except for national holidays).

The off-season lasts from Oct 16 to March 31 the following year. During this period, the light show at Fushan Bay will take place every Friday and Saturday, starting at 19:00 and lasting for about 15 minutes. During national statutory holidays, the show will add one more time at 19:30.

The peak season lasts from April 1 to Oct 15. During this period, the Fushan Bay light show will take place twice a day except on Mondays, starting at 20:00 and 20:30 respectively. During national statutory holidays, the show will add one more time at 21:00. Each show will last for about 15 minutes.
