The Qingdao West Coast New Area has applied the country's first county-level data platform in designated institutions for occupational health examinations, which has benefited 367,000 people, according to the district's health bureau.

Last year, the district initiated the “Internet + occupational health” management platform in the country, which can regulate the preventive health examinations of all physical examination organizations in the district.

It can achieve centralized data sharing, as well as standardize the data format and workflow.

In addition, it can provide online reservations and inquiry services, summarize and analyze the preventive health examination data of each physical examination institution in the district, and automatically generate the statistical reports required by the district's center for disease control and prevention.

The data platform can also interface with the monitoring system of the municipal disease prevention and control center, as well as automatically upload personal physical examination information required by the system to the information management network.

It can help improve work efficiency, ensure the quality of physical examinations, improve the monitoring level of key occupational diseases, and provide a basis for the formulation of key occupational disease prevention policies and measures.

The platform can also issue electronic health certificates for employees and release electronic reports of occupational health examinations for individuals or groups.

It can discern the validity of health certificate of employees, personal reports of occupational health examinations, and group comprehensive reports.

The platform can achieve network law enforcement. Through the web version of the law enforcement terminal, law enforcement agencies can complete law enforcement inquiries without leaving the office.

It can also give early warning of suspected occupational disease diagnosis and increase the rate of occupational disease diagnosis.

To date, more than 1,000 enterprises in the district have launched the data platform, opening a new model of occupational health.
