The much-awaited Qingdao marathon will hit the city on Oct 28. The race track in the city is set alongside coastline which unfolds the most beautiful scenery of Qingdao to athletes from home and abroad. It is also dubbed as China's most beautiful coastal circuit.

If you're running in this year's marathon, here are some of the places you'll pass by during the race.

Founded in the 1930s, Qiangdao Badaguan Scenic Spot is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Qingdao. In late autumn, leaves in Badaguan's avenue fall down like butterflies presenting a beautiful landscape for athletes. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]
