Qingdao Women and Children's Hospital (QWCH), affiliated with Qingdao University, is an advanced specialized medical center, providing a full range of services including medical care, research and teaching. 

It is the hub of the Hospital Network, which consists of more than 112 members and covers a population of about 30 million people in Qingdao and surrounding areas.

At present, the hospital has 42 wards, 14 operating theaters, and an authorized bed capacity of 1,216. 

In 2017, QWCH recorded 2.2 million outpatient visits, 60,000 admitted patients, 30,000 surgical operations and 15,000 childbirths. 

QWCH has 3 provincial key clinical specialties including the Children's Heart Center, obstetrics, and pediatrics, and 5 Class A/B medical centers, such as the National Genetic Technology & Application Testing Center, Prenatal Diagnosis Center, Fetal Medicine Center, Newborn & Infant Disease Screening Center and Neonatal Disease Consultation Center. 

There are 1,900 employees, including 8 doctors with the Provincial/City-Level Outstanding Doctor Title, 4 doctors with the National Allowance Title, and 746 professionals with senior or mid-level titles.  

QWCH has three campuses with a total area of 162,000 square-meters and well-equipped with DSA, CT, MRI, and other state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. 

Located in the east downtown area of Qingdao, Liaoyang Road campus is the main campus, providing a range of clinical services and health care for women and children. 

The other two campuses are Wuding Road campus and Tieshan Road campus. Wuding Road campus, formerly known as both Children's Hospital and New Century Women and Children's Hospital, will provide high-end medical services with abundant resources that satisfy high demand. Tieshan Road campus, formerly known as Maternity Hospital, provides maternal and child health-care, as well as psychology and rehabilitation services. It also promotes public health by performing social health management for women and children.
