Located by the Fushan Bay in Qingdao, the hospital is adjacent to the municipal government building and one of PLA's first third-grade class-A hospitals. It is also a teaching base for Southern Medical University，the Nanjing Military Medical College of the Second Military Medical University, Weifang Medical University and Dalian Medical University.
