Construction has started on a high-end electronic measurement instrument project funded by Ceyear Technologies Co Ltd in Qingdao West Coast New Area, Shandong province.
The company, a leading Chinese manufacturer of electronic measurement instruments, established operations in the new area in 2015. It specializes in the research, development and manufacturing of high-end electronic instruments and equipment.
With a total floor area of about 87,200 square meters, the new project will integrate technological research and development, testing, high-end manufacturing and the commercialization of research results.
It will include an innovation center and a production base for high-end electronic instruments, further expanding the company's research and manufacturing capacity in the sector.
According to the construction schedule, the project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2028 and begin operations in the first half of 2029.
It is expected to benefit from the new area's growing electronic information industry cluster and strengthen links between technological research and industrial application.
It will also help improve the local industrial chain for next-generation information technology and support the upgrading of advanced manufacturing in Qingdao West Coast New Area.
