The WSDF 2026 World Street Dance Festival kicked off on July 31 at Golden Beach Beer City in the Qingdao West Coast New Area, bringing a high-energy fusion of trendy choreography and craft beer to the ongoing 36th Qingdao International Beer Festival. Running through Aug 3, the four-day event drew elite dancers from across the country to this coastal city in Shandong province.

The upgraded competition featured veteran judges from South Korea, India, and Qatar who applied international standards and provided live scoring and critiques. Five major world-class dance events also kicked off alongside the recording of two reality dance variety shows, offering audiences a multifaceted experience that combined elite battles, interactive exchanges, and star-watching opportunities.

By merging youth pop culture with the festival's vibrant atmosphere, the event strongly reinforced the city's youthful and international appeal. Visitors gathered by the seaside to enjoy world-class beers while witnessing top-tier dance showdowns under the summer night sky.
