Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) officially launched its schedule for summer tourism and consumption on July 6. Capitalizing on the synergy of the Qingdao International Beer Festival, global sports events, and the graduation season, the area has integrated diverse resources to offer over 80 activities and four curated travel routes.

Focusing on beer and performing arts as the core attractions, the area aims to create an immersive summer atmosphere. The 36th Qingdao International Beer Festival, which is due to kick off on July 17 at the Golden Beach Beer City, serves as the centerpiece, supported by various localized beer carnivals and themed events across the region.

At the same time, a robust performing arts matrix — featuring high-profile concerts, piano recitals, and panoramic shows — will ensure visitors have no shortage of nightly entertainment.

To further drive engagement, the area introduced precise consumer incentives, including ticket discounts for football fans and exclusive tourism packages for graduates. Four thematic routes offer visitors personalized experiences, ranging from coastal sightseeing and mountain hiking to cultural museum tours and family-oriented entertainment.

Additionally, seven major promotional pillars, covering commercial upgrades, automotive lifestyle products, and "trade-in" subsidies, have been deployed to stimulate the local market. By optimizing services for both domestic and international tourists, Qingdao WCNA is establishing a comprehensive, accessible, and vibrant summer destination, inviting visitors to enjoy an immersive and memorable seaside getaway.
