A new digital service QR code for Badaguan Scenic Area in Qingdao's Shinan district has began trial operations. The service is listed on Qingdao's one-stop digital service platform, allowing users to access multiple public services through a single QR code.

Badaguan Scenic Area is one of Qingdao's most popular tourist destinations, known for its century-old architecture and former residences of notable historical figures. As the city's first digital service pilot for a scenic area, the project integrates tourism services with community governance to better serve both visitors from outside the city and local residents.

To meet the needs of different users, Shinan has developed a digital service system that provides access to tailored services through a single QR code.

For visitors from outside the city, the platform provides scenic navigation, travel route planning, event information, and local food recommendations. For locals, it offers policy inquiries, community updates, online government services, neighborhood engagement opportunities, and utility payments.

It marks a new approach to digital services in areas where tourist attractions and residential communities coexist.

The launch of the service reflects Shinan's efforts to promote digital transformation to meet public demand. The district will continue expanding digital applications in tourism, public services and urban governance.
