A subsidiary of a major State-owned energy enterprise hosted a series of science and technology-themed events from July 2 to 3 in Qingdao's Shinan district, bringing together experts, researchers, and industry professionals to explore new opportunities in energy technology innovation.

The event highlighted the company's latest achievements and reflected Shinan's efforts to support enterprise development through improved services and stronger industry-academia cooperation. Experts from leading universities, research institutions, and the energy sector gathered to discuss advances in oil and gas exploration, geological measurement, and related technologies.

During the event, participants attended exhibitions on oil and gas exploration equipment, technology demonstrations, product launches, and forums. Eight independently developed technologies in oil and gas measurement and control were unveiled, while a national demonstration base for deep earth exploration was officially inaugurated. Academicians and industry experts also shared insights on smart drilling, deep exploration, and precision evaluation of oil and gas resources.

As a major enterprise in China's oil and gas exploration sector, the company has contributed to the development of domestic measurement and logging technologies and provided technical support for improving exploration efficiency and energy security.

Looking ahead, Shinan will further enhance its innovation environment by strengthening support for talent development, research collaboration and technology commercialisation. Through closer cooperation among government, enterprises, and research institutions, it aims to attract more innovation resources and promote high-quality development in the energy technology sector.
