As smart pens trace across digital paper and artificial intelligence assistants illuminate the learning path, Shinan district in Qingdao, Shandong province, is leveraging digital technology to reshape its educational landscape and build a more personalized, data-driven learning system.

Smart devices are being used in classrooms to support both teaching and student engagement. The technology helps collect and analyze learning data, allowing teachers to better understand individual progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

AI tools are also assisting teachers in routine tasks such as lesson preparation and grading, enabling them to focus more on student guidance and interaction. Through continuous data tracking, students' learning processes can be visualized, supporting more targeted and individualized teaching.

A district-wide digital platform has also been established to support collaborative lesson planning, online teaching research, and peer review among schools. The system allows for the more efficient sharing of teaching resources and improves coordination across the district.
