Shinan district in Qingdao is full of life this Spring Festival with citywide events inviting visitors to enjoy culture, food, and shopping. Over a hundred activities are creating a festive atmosphere for everyone, from historic streets to modern malls.

Fushan Bay in the east is the hotspot for shopping and entertainment. Malls, hotels, and seaside attractions feature giant decorations, traditional dance shows, lantern parades, and festive markets. From Feb 14 to March 7, shoppers can enjoy five million yuan (about $710,000) in vouchers for retail, electronics, and household items.

To the west, Zhongshan Road's historic streets bring old-city charm to life with craft markets, street performances, and theater shows. Nearby Pichaiyuan offers heritage food markets and Chinese New Year meals, letting visitors taste local specialties and traditional treats. Dining vouchers worth one million yuan are also available at local restaurants.
