Shinan district in Qingdao is home to a variety of popular attractions, including Anna Villa, Sanjiangli and No 3 Bathing Beach that have grown in popularity in recent times.

Anna Villa is a Baroque-style building built in 1901. Robert Capler, a German businessman who constructed the villa, named it "Anna Villa" in honor of his beloved daughter.

The marriage registration authority of Shinan district set up an office at Anna Villa in 2022, making it the city's first wedding registration hall.

"Couples from all across the country flock to Anna Villa to celebrate their love. Anna Villa has established itself as a love industry hub, providing services for couples of all ages, ensuring that they have the opportunity to celebrate their romantic relationships," said Li Xiaojie, the host of Anna Villa.

Sanjiangli, established in 1907, is another well-known tourist spot in Shinan district. It was one of the three major guild halls during the Qing dynasty (1644-1911). Today, the place still has its old world charm despite being filled with modern amenities like bakeries, bookstores and cafes.

The No 3 Bathing Beach, which has also gained popularity among visitors this year, is commonly known as "Qingdao's best night scene" and the "ideal spot for experiencing light shows".

Although the No 3 Bathing Beach is smaller compared to other beaches in Qingdao, the seawater here is incredibly clear. In terms of location, this beach is located near the May Fourth Square and offers a panoramic view of the towering buildings.
