Qingdao shows global appeal at cultural and tourism expo in Jinan
The eastern coastal city of Qingdao is showing off its cosmopolitan side through a wide range of exhibits at the second China International Culture and Tourism Expo, which is being held from Sept 16 to 20 in Jinan, capital of Shandong province.
Highlighting the city's chic and metropolitan nature, its exhibition area features the city's rich and diverse culture and tourism resources covering food, accommodation, travel, shopping and entertainment.
Architectural models of the city's emerging landmarks and popular scenic spots, such as Daxue Road, the Valentine's Dam at Olympic Sailing Center, and the Tangdao Bay Rainbow Bridge, are presented at the city's exhibition.
Qingdao's night life and bar culture are also being highlighted as part of efforts to promote its nighttime economy.
