Qingdao to host Global Venture Capital Conference in May

The 2021 Global Venture Capital Conference will be held in the eastern coastal city of Qingdao, Shandong province from May 7 to 8.

It will be held on both online and offline channels, attracting more than 100 leading figures in global academic, investment, and industrial circles to have in-depth discussions on topics like capital serving the real economy, as well as innovation empowering high-quality development.

The participants will also offer in-depth analysis of the future investment prospects and new opportunities for the development of industry and finance under the new economic pattern, with forums concerning policy orientation, economic situations, market demand, industry trends, as well as other aspects to be held.

According to the organizers, the conference will be further upgraded on the basis of the previous two editions. It will offer a stage for diversified capital exchange, as well as facilitate the dialogue and integration of capital and industry in China and even the world.

Key projects will be signed during the conference, said the organizing committee. The promotion of the global venture capital investment service platform, the launch of the Qingdao municipal government guide fund, as well as the display of science and technology innovation mother fund achievements will also take place.

The event will be broadcast live via several live streaming apps to attract more engagement and to expand its influence.

According to Qingdao officials, the event will contribute to science and innovation, as well as explore a new round of investment to support economic development in the city.
