Three Qingdao-based logistics enterprises were recently classified as 5A-level by the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing, bringing the total number of 5A logistics enterprises in Qingdao to 10.

The three enterprises are Shandong High-speed Logistics Group, RRS.com and Bondex.

Through the construction of a commodity supporting industrial park, cold chain logistics zone, highway logistics center and other basic logistics facilities, the Shandong High-speed Logistics Group has built a comprehensive, platform-oriented and intelligent logistics ecosystem in Qingdao.

RRS.com is an affiliate of Haier, China's leading consumer electronics and home appliances company. It is committed to becoming a leading enterprise focused on home appliances, furniture, travel, fitness equipment and other industries with integrated supply chain solutions.

Bondex, established in 1996, offers one-step supply chain logistics solutions. It does business with more than 200 ports around the world and has more than 70 branches worldwide.

Qingdao has been stressing the development of logistics industry. In 2019, the added value of the logistics industry in Qingdao reached 118 billion yuan ($17.75 billion), an increase of 9.4 percent year on year.

The total number of A-level or above logistics enterprises in Qingdao now stands at 87, more than any other city in the province.
