Zhu Peiji – Vice Mayor

Zhu Peiji, born in April 1963, is a male of Han ethnicity from Qingdao, Shandong province. He entered the workforce in September of 1983 and joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in August 1985. He has an in-service postgraduate education from the Party School of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee and holds a master's degree in economics.
He is currently vice mayor of Qingdao.
Zhu is responsible for affairs related to education, human resources and social security, the environment, water management, agriculture and rural affairs, and marine development.
He is also responsible for affairs related to supply and marketing, poverty alleviation, and construction of new rural communities.
Zhu is a liaison officer for the Qingdao Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Qingdao Federation of Social Science.
