Luan Xin – Vice Mayor

Luan Xin, born in September 1969, is a female of Han ethnicity from Longkou, a county-level city in Shandong province. She is a member of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and entered the workforce in April 1997. She has a postgraduate education and holds a doctorate in engineering.
Luan is currently vice mayor of Qingdao, chairman of the seventh Qingdao municipal committee of the DPP, chairman of the Shandong provincial committee of the DPP, and a member of the Standing Committee of the DPP Central Committee.
Luan is responsible for affairs related to civil administration, culture and tourism, health, market supervision, sports, medical care, the Disabled Persons' Federation, and radio and television. She is also a liaison officer for the Qingdao Municipal Red Cross Society.
