The Qingdao government has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Renmin University of China (RUC) on the recruitment of talented individuals with high-potential on Aug 25, qingdaonews.com reported.

According to the agreement, the RUC will set up integrated research institutions in Qingdao based on its predominance in the fields of humanities and social sciences, to conduct studies on the city's personnel, financial management and legal services. It will manage research projects assigned by the municipal government and local enterprises, as well as provide and train highly-skilled management for the city.

The Qingdao government will offer preferential policies regarding the RUC's funding, infrastructure and recruitment.
