Footprints from white foxes were found on Laoshan Mountain, Shandong province for the first time since Nov 2006.

According to witnesses, the white foxes were not scared of humans and some appeared to ask for food.

"White foxes are a commonly artificial feeding species, but they are not native animals,” experts said. “As an omnivorous animal, they have rich food resources living in the mountains.”
